Being Active Can Help Your Life Long

Physical activity energy expenditure triggers can help prolong the life of the elderly. Examples of physical activity is household work such as mopping floors, vacuuming, cleaning windows, mowing the lawn, caring for children, and on foot.

The study, published in the Journal of the American Medical Association on 302 elderly people aged 70-84 years, showed that the risk of death decreased by 2 times the elderly who do activities with high energy expenditure. Elderly are included in the group with high activity generally still like climbing stairs and is still actively working both at home and at work.

So, if you want to stay healthy and long life in the old days, be sure to stay active and exercise regularly.

Hot Tea Can Cause Cancer

Tea is a favorite drink a lot of people. Its presence is often accompanied us while eating a heavy meal or snack. But, do not drink while still hot.

A study, published in the British Medical Journal and quoted in March 2009 on Health24 revealed, people who drink tea have a higher risk of throat cancer than those who chose a cold drink.

Esophagus cancer (where the distribution of food and drink from the throat to the stomach or the stomach) have been identified with smoking and drinking alcohol. In fact, hot drinks also have the same risk as a result of damage to the tissue lining the throat.
