
The history of bulimia is old. Even in ancient Rome, people used to throw the food consumed in the holiday period. There were even special places for it called “vomitorium.” There are many memories of these events in the books of ancient Rome. The Roman emperors Claudius and Vitellius were bulimic.
In some cultures, others such as Egypt are purged every month for three consecutive days, with vomiting and enemas for maintaining health. They thought that human diseases come from food.

Bulimia is an eating disorder in which victims are subjected to periods of excessive and often secret, followed by forced purging. Purging can take various forms, such as induced vomiting or excessive use of laxatives, diuretics or enemas. Bulimic, but not always, literally, their bodies bleed food. There are other ways to express bulimia – a binge eating disorder may follow an encounter with a period of severe fasting or excessive exercise.
The first effects of bulimia are often of stomach aches – the victim may choose to ignore. Electrolytes are essential to maintain the body functions efficiently and ensure healthy teeth, bones, kidneys, heart and nerve function. It is also important for fusion.
