Some people are aware that one or two glasses of red wine a day can help keep the heart healthy. Among the many positive side effects of red wine is its ability to promote good heart condition, provided the person does not consume too much. It has been scientifically tested and is often considered a good way to avoid heartburn, although this may not be entirely accurate. As if people needed more reasons to indulge in a glass of Merlrot, recent research shows that red wine is also good for the respiratory system. Interestingly, the positive impact of red wine consumption have been recorded, even among people who smoke.

According to the study, two glasses or less alcoholic substance, including wine or beer, actually helped to clear the airways in the body. They also had a significant effect in helping prevent diseases such as asthma and bronchitis. Research has noted that while there were positive effects for greater daily amount of alcohol, they were reduced compared with test data to two drinks. At some point, the data also showed that the positive side effects actually stopped and more negative effects on the airways and lungs have begun to appear. It is currently unknown what exactly this effect to occur, but there are some who believe somehow the alcohol aids in breaking substances that can clog the airways.

Another facet of the study focused on the statistical analysis. The test is to analyze the statistics between those who were considered “moderate drinkers”, and the likelihood that these same people who develop lung disease would require treatment of respiratory tract. Naturally, steps have been taken to eliminate other possible factors, such as exposure to secondhand smoke and genetics. The results of the final data of the research has shown that drinkers’ were less likely to develop serious respiratory problems on their own, unless other factors. In this case, “moderate drinkers” were defined by the study as being the type who do drink regularly, probably do that on social occasions. Moderate drinkers, defined by the study as having a more regular intake of alcohol, also showed a decreased risk compared to others. No data for heavy drinkers was released by the study.

However, there are inconsistencies in the data suggest that nicotine and tobacco play no role in the effects of alcohol on the lungs. According to data collected by the survey, a good percentage of test subjects were long-time smokers, or had respiratory diseases in the past. However, when data were compared with data from research, there was very little difference from those who were non-smokers. There is still much analysis to do, but it is becoming clear that the reduction of 20% likelihood of developing respiratory illness to drink the light was not affected by the amount of nicotine has been pumped into the lungs. At least, not directly,
